Kicking off in the upcoming school year 2014-2015, school cafeterias will now offer more fruit at breakfast. The United States Department of Agriculture recognizes the importance of eating more fruit and vegetables and will now require cafeterias to offer at least 1 cup of fruit every morning at breakfast. Fruit at breakfast can be fun and filling! Look for some of our new products like Craisins, Fruit Chewy Bars, and warm cinnamon applesauce to get a healthy start to your day. Students are able to take 2 fruits each morning at breakfast.
